Dr. Hassan Alshahrani is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Najran University, Saudi Arabia. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. His research is situated in the field of composite materials including manufacturing, characterization, modelling, and development. He is the author or coauthor of many papers in refereed journals and conference contributions. He has received several important recognitions to his research career, including the deanship of scientific research Grants from Najran University, the review contributions for many journals, and conference presentations. Moreover, he currently served as a member of Center of Scientific and Engineering Research at Najran University. Dr. Alshahrani is a Fellow of both the American Composites Manufacturers Association and the Canadian Association for Composite Structures.
